ABOUT US

Universal Foundation is a Religious and Cultural Foundation of the Turkish Community in Brooklyn. it was founded in 1992.

Since then it has been working actively on providing Turkish Community’s needs. 

Universal Foundation organizes celebrations of national and religious holidays of the Turkish Community. It also has

Sunday School Programs, Day Camps, Summer and Winter camps.

Interfaith and Intercultural Dialog is one of the main goals of Universal Foundation.

For that, UF organizes dialog dinners in the Holy month of Ramadan, gives out a special dessert called Ashure in religiou

s and public places, visits churches and synagogues,arranges trips to Turkey, and also organizes panels and seminars to establish mutual understanding.
